Doing my last months of University during the first COVID lockdown made the third year in architecture school very different from what anyone expected. Still, I have finished a degree at the Kent School of Architecture and Planning! It was a scary decision to move to Canterbury in 2017 and start a BA in architecture, but it was worth it. I have learned loads, worked more than what is sensible and, at the same time, meeting so many wonderfully fantastic people. Too many of the final goodbyes happened unknowingly in March.

There was no physical end-of-year show to display what we have all done this year. The only substitute is Kent School of Architecture and Planning's first-ever fully digital End of Year Show.

On 22 July 2020, I formally graduated in absentia in Eliot Hall at the University of Kent with First Class Honours in Architecture. There are plans for a celebratory ceremony in Canterbury Cathedral in November, where the graduations usually take place. We'll have to wait and see what happens to that.
